The fireplace below is a self install with a bed of crushed lava and on top we have:
1 double 24" burner
1/4" Pink Rosa base glass
5 lbs of 1/8" Solex base glass
5 lbs 3/16 Amber base glass
5 lbs Bronze Rust Copper
1 lb of Pink Diamonds
and 1 lb of Rhubarb Pink G278CF Topper
and painted with clay tan paint

For a lava fill n the base it needs to be back at least 4" so when you pour the glass on you won't see the lava through the glass. Yes they did move the lava back after they e mailed the pictures to us to see if they were doing it right.

The surround below was built for Stacey in Laguna Niguel, California. She requested distressed copper which she got. From the edges on the interior being welded and polished to the antique distress. The surround looked great against the faux painted walls. The glass that was used was Bronze Rust Copper.

We typically start with a card board template to replicate the size and shape of the fireplace surround. This is a preview of your surround as this eliminates any surprises!

The fire pit below belongs to Chad Haupert. He used an Azurlite base with Azurlite Reflective on top. Then he created a star in the center using Bronze Rust Copper with and outline of Ice Ice Ice. We didn't get pictures of the complete pit nor of it burning. But it looks great!

The fireplace below is a direct vent conversion. The most important issue to address here is to NEVER increase the amount of fuel that your fireplace was designed to burn.

We will explain as we move forward:

This is the burner in this particular direct vent fireplace.

This burner will work just fine.

The fire pit below was designed and built by Tamara Lyons and her wonderful family! Junior help most. The glass that was used is:

Bronze Rust Copper base glass,

E.D. Diamonds, Red and Orange,

Amber Diamonds,

Orange R140 Topper, this particular color is one of our chameleons. It turns a bright cherry red when heated and cools back to orange when cooled!

The fire pit had three sets of burners. One in the center and one on each outer edge. This way you can control how large, how much and where you can have fire when you want it.

This is how it started

Jim Cogan Created this next fireplace using a Bronze Rust Copper base. He installed a Ribbon Burner opposed to a regular double burner. He had us make a 1/2" piece of Starfire as a front shield to contain the glass and it served as a "draft offset" to keep the Ribbon Burner traveling straight up. Here are the before and after pictures:
