The fireplace below is in Pasadena California. this is a before and after with a 2" base of crushed lava as a filler with Starfire on tot with a double 24" burner installed. We are next installing one of our surrounds.
Looks nice? Huh? NOT! Again, has anyone ever told you nice logs? I don't think so.
I would really not like being a log manufacture as they really produce some ugly products, in my opinion. But you decide for yourself.
Below we have installed the burner on top of the lava rock filler.
Now test the burner to insure the flames don't hit the back wall as this will scorch the walls.
Now this is nice! Now we will install a surround. Most everyone tells us "Nice Glass"!
This is a typical fireplace but this one has lava rock stacked up inside, yuck!
Below you can see the flame hitting the back wall creating a soot mark, not very nice looking. The customer didn't want the fireplace painted, why?
There's that soot mark! If you do paint make sure the work is not spotty! That looks nasty as well.
Above you see the typical hard piped burner installed which is fine for logs or lava. But this does not really work well for glass.
Below you see the double burner installed with an 18" flex line.
Test the burner and pour the glass, now it looks nice except for the soot mark!
Now we added 1 lb of our Topper,
Pirates!
The fireplace below has a Starfire base and several Toppers for color:
Pink, Cobalt Blue, Fuchsia, Hyacinth, Amethyst, Pale Cobalt Blue, Aquamarine, Lilac, Steel Blue and Purple.
Now we added a surround to finish it off. If you look on the lower right there is a remote control which is hidden by the surround.

The fire pit below has Starfire and Azurlite in the center and topped with more Starfire. This fire pit has a 6" band of white rock all around the edge. This way uses less glass and costs less.
The fireplace below has Starfire and then Black was added after the fireplace surround was installed.
We are now starting a page for some of our television promotions we have sponsored this season.

The fire pit below has Clear, Starfire, Amber Topping, Amber Topper and Dark Red Orange Topper.
The fireplace below has an aluminum surround and Starfire in Palm Springs.
The fireplace below was hand made by one very creative customer, great job! It has a Starfire base and Clear Pyrite added to the surface for a little sparkle.
The pictures below we will be showing how to do a 3" install (all glass), a surround painted black and a triple burner with Ice and Starfire.
Above and below are a typical of what most fireplaces look like (yuk)1
Above and below with a triple burner, some cleaning and a little bit of paint.
Above and below we installed an aluminum surround painted black. Only Starfire is installed for now.
It's hard to see but we did install Ice on top of the Starfire. If you noticed we had to pile a small mound in the front to cover the massive pipe connection. Did you even notice it in the first few pictures?
With the surround it make the room. We are proud of our inventions and ideas because our customers are always pleased.
The fireplace below has a larger surround and Starfire installed. Please note the this surround is the metal shell only without the inner frosted glass.
The fire pit below has Ford Blue, Ford Blue Reflective, V Blue, V Blue Reflective, Turquoise Toppings, Deep Royal Toppings and Copper Blue Topper on a bed of 1/4" and 1/2" Starfire

THESE WILL BE OUR NEWEST FIRE PITS WITH GRANITE TOPS AND OF COURSE GLASSEL IN THE FIRE PIT AND YOUR CHOICE OF COLOR. THESE WILL BE NATURAL GAS OR PROPANE BOTTLE FUELED. WE WILL POST MORE DETAILS WHEN WE HAVE A CHANCE.
The fire pit below was a traditional lava rock fire pit
Now filled with lava rock (crushed 1/4" 3/8") over 3/8" 1/2" crushed. Remember the larger is under the smaller to keep the glass from falling through.
Above a flex line was installed to raise the ring to the surface. You don't want to leave the ring at the bottom unless you want an explosion or if you want to get rid of the significant other.
Below
Pour more crushed lava to make the desired shape of the fire pit and test burn for flame pattern.
Starfire base and a few other colors were added
Azurlite, Scarlet Topper, Red Topping, Ice, Copper Blue Topper, Copper Blue is a chameleon as when it gets hot it turns green and when it cools it turns back to blue!
Patterns, can you do better?
Pretty creative!
Great job and very creative.
The fireplace below has a Starfire base and several toppers for color:

The fireplace below has Starfire and Ice. This is a complete makeover and turned out very nice.
The fireplace below is in Georgia and we will explain as we move down
The first 2 pictures are of how it used to look, nice logs! I don't think so!
The owners of this fireplace called and told us they couldn't use the fireplace because of the soot (carbon-monoxide) (poison) So we redesigned the fireplace with an air vented pan and our glass (Starfire and Ice) and now a clean burn! The flames are all above the glass and therefore no more carbon-monoxide. Fireplace Shops and dealers won't tell you about this unless you ask, how would you know to ask?
Starfire and Ice on the left
Pan and ring burner on the right.
Really nice fireplace in the middle of the great room surrounded by 3 glass walls.
The fireplace below has Starfire, Ice and Copper Ruby Red Topper.

The project below has Pink Rosa, Azurlite, Starfire, Black, Neo Lavender Shift, Red, Amber and Evergreen Reflective. This is now a window in Palm Springs and produced by Dan Tipton, eatdrttipton@earthlink.net tell him what you think.
The fireplace below is in Glendale Hills California. We installed Starfire as a base with about 1 lb of Ice Ice Ice on top. Then to finish it off we installed a brass surround with bronze frosted glass. The customer loved it! She is the CEO of Fredrick's of Hollywood! Awesome house by the way.
The fireplace below was installed by the customer (Kim Clark) with a remote control, propane burner manufactured by us and topped with Starfire. The fireplace was transformed form an ordinary to work of art, nice job!
The picture below has the burner being tested
This is the remote control on the lower right with the pilot light assembly
We now have fire!
The fireplace below is in Palm Springs California. We installed Starfire as a base glass and painted the interior ivory white and installed brushed surround with clear glass edging.
Now it starts to come to life!
It just looked sooo good, we had to post all of the pictures!
Amazing flame work by night and below simple and nice to see by day.
This surround has 4" sides and 3" top and bottom. Every fireplace is a little bit different as we recommend a cardboard template so you can get a preview of what it will look like before hand.
The pictures below are for the opening "90210" Malibu party on the night of the series premier. Click on the link to see the full story and write up from BizBash .

We use Starfire in our propane RV Fire pits on the Malibu Beach Party.
The tables were furnished by www.RriveWorks.com and we furnished the RV Fire Pits.
The fire pit below is in Glendale, Arizona at the Renaissance Hotel. We installed an electronic ignition with a 30" stainless steel ring. The glass use was a Clear base with Starfire on top and topped with 42 lbs of Apricot Topper. These pictures were taken with the edges still exposed which were covered by a layer of Starfire.
The stainless steel pan burner below has a 24" stainless steel star burner installed and it is connected to our 110 volt electronic ignition. This is a propane burner.
We then covered it with our Starfire to test for soot and as you can see, a clean burn.
The fireplace below is a before and after and a "how to" make it low and lean. A more contemporary look. This is a self install by Rich Kamins and one very nice job!. He used a Bronze and Bronze Reflective base glass. Topper with a bit of Starfire. Ice Ice Ice and about 2 pounds of Copper Ruby Red Topper for a splash of color.
Typical nasty fireplace before Moderustic!
A few bricks and some drywall
Some sand under the burner for filler to raise the base glass.
And here you have one nice finished fireplace.

Medium Amber Topping,
Yellow Amber Topper,
Steel Blue Topper,
Dark Red Orange Topper over the base glass. The controls were covered after the install was finished. If you look closely you can see the pilot light assembly.
