Platinum Base Glass-
One of our newer colors. The true color is just that of Platinum Base Glass/ White Gold. Pictures were taken with and without the flash to try to show the color. We will post install pictures just as soon as we have these. ______________________________________________________________________ Click "HERE" or on the picture below to see how this fire pit was made and installed. __________________________________________________________________ Here we are in the showroom/ shop and we have two color, Platinum Base Glass and Bronze Rust Copper Base Glass in the same fireplace. We have taken several shots to try to show the color variations. _____________________________________________________________________ Click "HERE" or on the picture below to see how this started and finished, very simple and very nice _____________________________________________________________________ The fireplace below has a 3/8" Starfire Base Glass with 1/4" Azurlite Base Glass, Citrine Topper, Hyacinth Topper, Lagoon Topper, and Platinum Base Glass laminated to the back wall. This was installed in Dallas Texas by Nadine. The fireplace below is a propane fireplace with our propane pan burner and the glass that was use is: 1/4" Clear White Base Glass 1/4" Clear Chunky Base Glass 1/2" Clear Chunky Base Glass and 2 lbs of Platinum Base Glass From beginning to end. This was a custom size pan because of the smaller size of the fireplace, but we can build anything. The next fireplace was installed by Kirk Lewis. He wanted a splash of matching colors and he got it! He installed: Bronze Base Glass, Bronze Rust Copper Base Glass, 1/4" Black Base Glass, California Gold Base Glass, Platinum, 1/2" Bronze Base Glass, and 1/2" Starfire Base Glass. The next fireplace is from Chris Ackopiantz in Palos Verdes California. Chris lives in a condo complex with only wood burning fireplaces. Chris received permission from his complex to add a propane fed fireplace. Burning wood is not only dirty and nasty, it is very unhealthful as well. Here are his pictures from beginning to end: The glass he used was a: Clear Base Glass Platinum Base Glass on top Porcelain Coated FireBalls for accents There is a Battery Operated remote control ignition system installed as well. Underneath the glass there is a pan to contain the propane. This is a Propane Fireplace with a Propane Burner! The next Wine Barrel Fire Pit was built be Shaun Ibe. We supplied all of the parts, knowledge base and Shaun built one really nice Wine Barrel Fire pit! We will explain as we move forward Shaun used up all of his old corks to line the top with and then he had a piece of glass made to cover the corks. Be sure you have the top made with tempered glass!
