The fireplace below was done for
Nick Cannon (now married to Mariah Carey)(
http://www.nickcannon.com/ ) in Hollywood Hills California. We installed a remote control inside of the fireplace on the left side as you will see. The remote control was an IPI (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) so the pilot light only goes on when you turn the fireplace on with the remote control. We use a lava base filler and topper it with 1/8" Black for a very fine layered look. The fireplace was coated with a high heat concrete mix to make it look wider and lower. A very contemporary look and it looks great.
The remote is on the lower left side with crushed lava all around
We have turned it on to a low flame
Now we add the 1/8" Black
and now you have one very simple but unique fireplace. You almost can't see the remote because of the glass color. The remote was to go inside the left cabinet but the plumber forgot to show up, oh well. But it's done and everyone is happy.

The fountain below was converted to a fire pit with Black Magic. We use a several hundred pounds of lava rock then topped it with crushed lava rock to keep the materials from falling through. After we placed the black magic on the lava rock Craig topped it with Clear Pyrite (Clear with Sterling Silver coating) Clear Diamonds, Black, Black Reflective and now he has one cool fire feature. We will show you from beginning to end.

NASTY!

Here you can see the lightly coated Black Magic with our glass for accents and sparkle.

Here you can see the Diamonds. When you see the Diamonds in the fire they appear to be melting but actually they are only reflecting inside which looks like they are melting. They are made from crystal.

![craig 13](/gallery/46284.jpg)
And with everything just right you have the Black Magic look!

Nice Flames!
The fire pit below is again in Dallas Texas and installed by Nadine. She used a Black base with Gray base glass, Gold base glass, Bronze Rust Copper base glass and a splash of Azurlite.
The fire pit below has a black Base with Black Reflective on top.Not too great of a fire pit picture but you get the idea. Even with Black as a base glass you will only see the color of glass under the fire. The flames don't change color nor does the glass, but the glasss is what will reflect the light at night.
The fireplace below was assembled by Nadine in Dallas Texas (Elegant Reflections USA) Great job on the skull! The base glass is Starfire and Black base makes up the skull. She also used Clear Diamonds and Clear Crystals from our Toppers.
You can see the Diamonds and Crystals around the outer edge for accents.
The fire pit below was purchased locally and then we converted it to burn propane without soot! The colors used were:
Starfire Base Glass,
Here is what is looked like when he started. These manufactures have no imagination!
This only cost about $100.00, complete!
